September 4 2003 - These pictures were taken at a time when Mars was at its closest to earth and the closest it will be for thousands of years! These pictures were taken with my 10" Lx200 SCT and my newly aquired canon G3 digital camera.

July 17 2003 - This was one of the most beautiful events ive see, through the telescope this was great! These pictures were taken when mars and the moon were nearly in the same FOV. they are mosaics taken with my color quickcam VC and my 80mm telescope. I would have gotten much better pics (wider view) with my canon G2 but unfortunately it was being repaired at that time!

July 3 2003 - this was my first somewhat succesfull mars photo. This picture was taken with my meade LX200 10 SCT and my quickcam VC color webcam.

June 21 2003 - These two pictures don't say too much but they are of Uranus and Neptune. I was quite happy with the Uranus shot as it shows the color quite nicely. Other wise I am just posting these just because I was able to photograph the two outer planets. Next challenge will be pluto! Meade LX200 10" SCT and Canon G2 camera
